The sea is a 10 minutes walk down the track and there are rambling trails through the woods with alternative routes you can take. Situated 2 miles north from the village of Tighnabruaich Hill Cottage feels serenely remote yet all services required are close at hand. The nearest neighbour is about two thirds of a mile and until very recently the closest neighbour due south was Robert Carlyle the actor who has moved back into the city. Silly man!
