With the cosy log fire, peaceful surroundings and bath so big you could almost drown in it, I always have a really relaxed stay. I kick myself for not staying longer.

Have spent several weekends there, its a great place to relax. Love the area it’s in, and the way its got a burn (stream) out front and a brief walk to the sea. The place seems remote due to its location on the hill but isn’t really.

The cottage is the most peaceful and beautiful place that I know. It is the place to chill out, sleep long hours and be as one with yourself. The important things are important there: breathing, eating, sleeping….nothing else. The air is amazingly fresh there. Must be great for kids.

I was enchanted by Hill Cottage. It is secluded enough to feel the peace of the countryside but just a short trip form the village. It has a lovely traditional feel to it which takes one back to ones childhood and feels like a real escape.

Most days my friends and myself would have a picnic on the lawn, roam in the countryside and then head down the hill for some night-life.

I have never spent a more serene few days - bathed in beautiful countryside, with little more to do than just relax! Everyone should have access to a Hill Cottage.

Hill Cottage.... would love to go back, i enjoyed our visits to the Cottage  amongst beautiful surroundings and fantastic views, countryside to explore and most of all a place to relax away from everything.......  it puts a smile on my face.
